Member Testimonials

Fanny Raskind
“Coming from a rural background, I turned to Atlas for community and growth when
I felt really lost in the CS world and college in general. It’s given me more than I could
have ever imagined. I’ve learned how to talk to others and about myself, gained invaluable
technical skills, and, most importantly, I’ve met some of the coolest, smartest, and most
humble people I know.”

Soham Salunke
“What stands out most for me are all the amazing people I’ve met along the way and
the unforgettable memories I’ve made over the past year. Professionally and personally, I’ve grown
a lot through the mentorship, projects, weekly technical development, and simply getting to know
people. Everyone has been incredibly supportive and welcoming since I joined, and I’m excited
to meet all the new members and help foster a similar experience in the next few semesters :)”

Emily Wang
“Atlas Digital is filled with some of the most brilliant people I’ve met at Michigan,
and what truly sets it apart is everyone’s genuine willingness to help each other out. Whether I
needed a resume review, a mock interview, or just advice during internship recruitment, someone
was always ready to step up and assist me. Members would go above and beyond—spending hours
helping one another, not because they had to, but because they genuinely cared. That kind of
support to me is invaluable.”
FAQ
How do I apply?
During our recruitment cycles at the beginning of each semester, you can apply through our application portal before the deadline. Your application helps us learn about who you are and how you might contribute to our community. We understand that application season can get stressful, so we're here with you every step of the way. Good luck!
What are the responsibilities and time commitments associated with being a member?
Responsibilities and time commitments for members vary by project. On average, we expect our analysts to commit 6-8 hours per week to project work, including team meetings, client communication, and individual tasks. Additionally, members are expected to attend weekly club-wide meetings. New members are also required to participate in weekly Technical Development sessions, which are workshops specifically designed to enhance academic and professional success.
What specific skills/qualifications do you look for in an applicant?
There are no particular skills or qualifications we look for in applicants—every analyst class we recruit has a diverse array of technical skills and experiences. Instead, what we prioritize is passion. In Atlas, our members have a drive to continuously learn, develop, and innovate. As a technical consulting organization, this is especially important as our work has a real-world impact. This is why we look for applicants who are truly excited about the world of tech. We value a mindset focused on growth and learning, qualities we believe are quintessential to success in our field of work.
What will the interview be like?
Our interview process typically consists of behavior and technical portions. For our behavior interviews, we aim to gauge your ability to work efficiently and effectively in teams and your overall fit within our community. For our technical interviews, we strive to assess your logical thinking and problem-solving skills. These interviews are not meant to be stressful and are simply a way for us to further understand who you are.
What is a technical interview?
A technical interview is designed to assess your problem-solving skills and how you approach challenges. We will ask you problems tailored to your level of technical experience. These interviews are a chance for you to show us your critical thinking abilities and capacity to learn, even under pressure.
How should I prepare?
Ask your friends to mock interview you, refresh yourself with any previous technical work, and be sure to get some rest! Whether we ask you a question on the spot or have you work through a tough problem, we want to see what you are capable of at your best!
